Internet Protocol Suite

The Internet Protocol Suite is, basically, a collection of communication protocols, like TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP and DHCP, which are used for Internet and various other networks. This suite consists of several layers which are used by the network terminals to exchange information among them. The Internet Protocol Suite is a result of research conducted by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency in the early 70’s.
