Internet

Everybody uses the Internet, but not everyone knows how to define it. In a simplified definition, the Internet is capable of transporting information to and from interconnected resources in the local and global setting. The internet is possible because of the electronic wires and optical connections that are responsible for the transmission through wired and wireless media. Every computer network connected to the internet is required to use the internet protocol or TCP/IP platform that every other device understands. Users can access the internet through a simplified service called hypertext transfer protocol or HTTP. The World Wide Web is a sub-infrastructure of the internet which has electronic mail as one of its more popular services. Only a small part of the Internet is accessible by normal users. The rest is devoted for security purposes by the ancestors of Internet itself.
